All videos uploaded to countCLOUD.pro are accompanied by a labelled aerial image. This notifies our team how to correctly apply the counted movements to their real world direction. No modifications or alterations will be made to the aerial image once received and we will process the video based upon the directions provided. Please double check all aerial images for accuracy as mistakes may impact the video processing results.

It is best practice to zoom in as close as possible when placing labels to provide a clear image.

Each count type, and additional labeling instructions can be seen below:

Turning Movement Counts

• Place the NB/SB/EB/WB labels over the approach legs of the intersection
• Place the camera icon and rotate to reflect the real world setup orientation
• 

5+ Leg Turning Movement Counts

• Can only be used for intersections with 5 or more legs intersecting at a single point
  • CANNOT be used for closely spaced intersections
• Place the A, B, C, D, E, and F (if needed) labels over the approach legs of the intersection
• Place the camera icon and rotate to reflect the real world setup orientation
• 

Volume Counts

• Zoom in close to the roadway to provide more space to place approach labels.
• Place either NB/SB or EB/WB labels at the requested count location
• Place the camera icon and rotate to reflect the real world setup orientation
• 

Trail Counts

• Place NB/SB/EB/WB labels for trail turning movement count
• Place NB/SB or EB/WB labels for a trail volume/point count
• Place the camera icon and rotate to reflect the real world setup orientation
•

Access Counts

• Place the ACCESS label over the access you would like processed
• Place the camera icon and rotate to reflect the real world setup orientation
• Counts will be returned as IN/OUT based on the camera location and access
